Made at the Izhevsk Arsenal in 1948. Import marked on the right side of the barrel. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt, butt and trigger guard. 20-1/2″ barrel with folding bayonet and standard M44 sights. Blued finish and arsenal sanded/oiled wood stock. CONDITION: Metal is excellent overall, with light wear. Wood has light wear as well. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. A nice M44 for your collection! C&R eligible.
