Made 1930’s as part of an order of roughly 5,500 guns for the French Navy. Large anchor on the top of the slide. No import marks found. Matching serials on the frame, slide, barrel and barrel nut. Standard 4-1/2″ barrel and sights. Parkerized finish and original checkered horn grips. Original blued steel magazine is “FN” marked on the side. Includes period leather flap holster. CONDITION: Metal is good-very good with light holster wear. Grips have light wear. Lanyard ring is absent. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Magazine has light finish wear. Holster has wear and light cracking on the top flap and front strap. Stitching on the belt loop is loose on one end, but the rest of the stitching on the holster remains tight. A rather scarce gun perfect for your FN 1922 or French military collection. C&R eligible.
