Full Description
Made circa late 1920s by FN in Belgium, for the Republic Of Mexico. Crest is retained on the chamber. No visible import marks found. Matching serials on the receiver, trigger guard and floor plate. Rack number, “44” on a brass plaque on the toe of the stock. 24″ barrel, with original sights. Original blued finish and oiled wood stock, with original smooth metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal is fair overall, with a mixed patina and gray patina. The front band spring is broken off. Wood has handling marks, impressions and scratches. Bore is frosted, with good overall rifling. C&R eligible.
