Standard Products M1 Carbine

Made 1943, in the first serial block assigned to Standard Products. Barrel is Underwood production (main barrel supplier for Standard Products), and is dated “12-43” over a “flaming bomb” stamp. Barrel is “P” proofed and has an import mark on the left side. Crossed Cannons cartouche on the right side of the stock, which is Standard Products production. Internals are mixed, with most being underwood. Blade front sight and early two position flip rear. Original parkerized finish. Stock has a light oil finish. Includes 15 round blued steel Standard Products made magazine and original green cotton sling. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall with light wear. Wood has light handling marks, scratches and wear. There are a few arsenal repairs on the left side of the butt. There is a crack on the right side of the firewood as well. Bore is bright with very good overall rifling. Magazine has finish wear. C&R eligible. Sling is excellent. C&R eligible.
