Receiver was made 1943/1944 by Auto Ordnance, as a sub contractor for IBM, noted by the “AO” on the tang. IBM barrel is not dated and “P” proofed. No import marks found. IBM trigger housing, Winchester operating rod and “IO” marked Inland flat bolt. Type 1 narrow band with no bayonet lug. “SCB” (IBM contractor) two rivet hand guard. “IO” marked butt stock. 18″ barrel with original blade front sight and late war milled adjustable rear. Arsenal parkerized finish and oiled wood stock. “SW” marked 15 round blued steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal is excellent overall. Wood has light handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny, with strong rifling. Magazine is excellent. C&R eligible.
