Made pre WW1, circa 1912 at Steyr in Austria-Hungary. Originally chambered in 7MM, but arsenal converted to 7.62X51 circa 1960s. Nice crest on the chamber! Import mark on the barrel. Mismatched serial numbers. Nice “1912” dated cartouche on the left side of the stock. Yellow painted rack numbers “75” on the wrist and “30” on the butt plate. Standard sights, original blued finish and oiled wood stock. Includes attached green canvas sling. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall, with general wear. Wood has minor impressions, dents and scrapes. Bore is lightly frosted with very good overall rifling. C&R eligible.
