Made circa 1906-1910 at the Tokyo (Koishikawa) arsenal. Kanji marks painted on the left grip. No import marks found. Mismatched serials, with the frame, bolt and right grip matching. 4-3/4″ barrel with blade front sight and 500 meter tangent rear. Arsenal blued and straw finishes. Oiled wood grips. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with general wear and cleaned patina. Grips have light wear. Bore has a clean overall surface. Good overall rifling. Magazine has light wear. C&R eligible.
