Series 28 rifle made at the Nagoya Arsenal circa late 1930s. Nice mum on the chamber. No import marks found. Matching serials on the receiver and front band. Bolt is mismatched. Standard Type 38 sights. Military blued finish. Two piece stock has lightly sanded and oiled. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with general wear and some gray patina forming. Wood has light handling marks and scratches. Bore is frosted with good overall rifling. C&R eligible.
