Full Description
Made circa 1906-1923 by the Tokyo Gas & Electric firm. This example was cut for a shoulder stock, with the slot being arsenal filled in at some point. No import marks found. Matching serials on the frame and checkered wood grips. Cocking piece and original nickel body magazine do not match. 4-3/4″ barrel with original front blade sight and 500 meter tangent rear. Military blued finish and oiled wood grips. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with natural mixed patina forming throughout. Wood grips have light wear and handling marks. Bore is lightly frosted, with good overall rifling. Magazine has heavy cleaned pitting and some wear. C&R eligible.
