Made by J.P. Sauer circa 1943-44. “eagle/C” police proof on the left side of the chamber. “eagle/N” under the serial number on the right side of the frame. No import marks found. Matching serials on the slide and frame. 3-1/4″ barrel with standard sights. This gun was professionally restored at some time. Original checkered black plastic grips. Original blued steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal is excellent overall. Grips have light wear. Bore has a few freckling of frosting, but is otherwise clean. Rifling is very good. C&R eligible.
