Made 1942 at the Waffenwerke Brunn factory in occupied Czechoslovakia. The G.24(t) is the German occupation version of the Czech VZ-24, and were made before production was switched over to K98s only. This gun was purchased from the estate of a WW2 veteran, who was said to have brought it back during WW2. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt and stock (faint). Heer marked stock “H”, with “eagle/WaA607” Waffenamnts on the stock. Standard sights, military blued finish and oiled wood stock. Includes an original military leather sling. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with general wear and cleaned patina. Wood has impressions dents and scrapes. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Sling has light wear and discoloration. Hard to find with a matching bolt. C&R eligible.
