Made circa early 1950s, before the M59/66 was introduced. Most M59s were converted to M59/66 variation, making this one quite scarce. Import marked on the barrel. Matching serials throughout the numbered parts. Standard post front sight and 1000 meter rear. Original blued finish and oiled wood stock. Folding blade bayonet. CONDITION: Metal is excellent overall. Wood has light handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. An excellent example for your collection! C&R eligible.
