Likely made at the La Corona Arsenal and later arsenal converted to 7.62X51 NATO in the 1960s. Spanish Civil Guard crest on the chamber, and a Civil Guard serial number on the right side of the chamber. Import marked on the chamber. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt, floor plate and trigger guard. Standard M1916 sights. Military blued finish and oiled wood stock. Includes attached leather sling. CONDITION: Metal is near excellent overall, minus a few splotches of surface rust on the front band, rear sight and bolt handle. Wood has minor impressions, dents and scratches. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Sling has light wear and crazing. C&R eligible.
