Made circa early 1899. There is a faint, boxed “JLA/1899” cartouche on the left side of the stock, and a circled “P” firing proof on the wrist. Standard blade front sight, with 1898 pattern rear sight. Includes original brass front sight cover. Military blued finish and oiled wood stock. CONDITION: Metal is good-very good overall, with normal wear. Frame is starting to turn a gray patina. Wood has light scratches and scrapes. Bore is frosted with good overall rifling. C&R eligible.
