Made 1900. There is a circled “P” firing proof on the wrist. 22″ barrel with pedestal blade front sight and “C” marked 1898 Pattern Carbine rear sight. Original blued finish. Wood was lightly sanded and oiled at some point. Smith butt plate with trapdoor and 3-piece cleaning kit inside. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall, with honest wear throughout. Wood has light handling marks. Bore is lightly frosted, with very good overall rifling. Cleaning rod is very good. C&R eligible.
