This gun started life as a Civil War era Star Model 1858 Double Action revolver in .44 Caliber percussion. It was converted to cartridge firing circa 1870S. this gun has “crown/U” proofs on the barrel, frame and cylinder. Matching serials on the frame and barrel assembly. Matching assembly numbers throughout. 6″ barrel with blade front sight and Blued finish and oiled one piece wood grip. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall, with honest wear. Grip is very good, with light scratches and handling marks. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Works in DA/SA. A rare and interesting gun for your collection! Antique, no FFL required in most areas.
