Made 1915 and shipped to the British Government fighting in WW1, with British proofs throughout. Colt markings remain throughout as well. No import or export marks found. A previous owner carved his social security number on the outside of the trigger guard. Matching serials on the frame and crane. Original blued finish. Period checkered brown plastic grips with silver medallions. Original lanyard ring and stud. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with a natural gray patina throughout. Grips are very good overall. Bore is frosted with good overall rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. C&R eligible.
