Made circa 1916-1918, by the sub contractor F.W. Kessler (marked “F.W.K.”). Walther let sub contractors build these, as they could not produce enough for military orders. Commercial “crown/N” and imperial proofs present. 3-1/2″ barrel with blade front sight and v-notch rear. Original blued finish and pressed horn grips. Includes an unmarked blued steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal is forming a mixed gray/brown patina throughout. Grips have light wear, with both panels being slightly warped. Bore is heavily frosted, with good overall rifling. Magazines has finish wear. C&R eligible.
