Made circa 1919 at the St. Etienne Arsenal. “MAC” marked barrel. Ball “N” marked chamber and barrel. No import marks found. Matching serials on the barrel and bolt. Trigger guard is not matching. Stock is not numbered, and has a rack number “64” on the right side. Standard sights. Military blued finish and oiled wood stock. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with general wear and gray patina. Wood has light impressions, dents and scratches. Bore is frosted near the muzzle, becoming cleaner near the chamber. C&R eligible.
