Made circa 1941-42 at the Nagoya arsenal. Mum has been deface, but is still partially visible. No import marks found. Matching serials and assembly numbers, including the bolt. Standard sights, with anti aircraft wings retained. Military blued finish. Stock has been lightly sanded and oiled. Original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Metal is forming an even brown patina throughout. Some light freckles of surface rust on the butt plate, bolt handle, bands and trigger guard. Wood has light dents and scrapes. Bore is frosted, with good overall rifling.
